Mosley Street
Manchester

The last unloved building on St Peter’s Square, the interiors of this Grade II listed office and warehouse space were due to be removed and lost forever.

Atelier MB was engaged to design a scheme that could preserve more of the building, whilst successfully creating viable, modern, work and leisure space. Drawing on architectural features, historic layouts, and 19th century character, our design weaves around what exists on site, retaining the majority of fabric and exposing beautiful detail including an original shop front, hidden for decades.

This project is a working example of our core belief that the retention and re-use of old buildings is better for the environment, better for our cities, and better for our future.

Soon to start on site.
