The original half of a distinguished red-brick mansion, Stand House dates back to the late 18th century and is Grade II listed. Whilst the historic features are remarkable, later additions were bland and out of character, disrupting the flow of the ground floor.

We stripped away generic 20th century alterations and introduced a bespoke contemporary extension, featuring a showpiece kitchen, airy family living space, a light-filled mezzanine level and seamless access on to the rear garden.

By reimagining the internal arrangement and blending historic elements with exceptional modern design and details, we have created a new phase for our client’s unique home
