Orleans House is an important example of early 20th century commercial building in the centre of Liverpool.

 

Atelier Heritage produced a Heritage Statement to accompany an application for converting this Grade II* listed building to residential use. We undertook archive research and a site assessment to analyse the significance of the remaining historic architectural features.

 

This appraisal informed the architectural design for the new residential scheme and ensured the submitted proposals were an appropriate response to the listed building.
