Close to Smithfield Market in London, this Grade II brick building holds a fascinating history. Originally constructed in the late 19th century as warehouse and workshop space, it then became the headquarters of a bacon curer, in an area once renowned for its meat trade. Later converted to retail and apartment use, Atelier Heritage are now providing a detailed assessment of its significance and a heritage statement to support an application to remodel the interior spaces.
