BJCFS Primary School, Salford

 

 

This project is over two phases and partly funded by the L.C.V.A.P. Phase one comprises the alteration and extension of the existing school entrance and administration area. The new extension gives a more prominent entrance, incorporating the red and blue logo colours reinforcing the school's identity.

 

Sustainable features incorporated in the extension include a green roof and automatic lights which switch off when rooms are empty.

 

Phase 2, comprised of a new hall, 3 new classrooms, and a passenger lift. The extension was built above the flat roof of the existing building.
